Instructor - Alessandro Scorrano Instructor Pilot & Civilian Jet Team Pilot Alessandro has flown a wide variety of aircraft types and is currently a flight instructor for national airline Pilot Academy "AirBaltic", with around 3,000 hours logged. He got his first license at the age of 16, in his hometown in Italy. He then started his flying career as an instructor flying piston engined aircraft and then since 2017 is an active display pilot of the world-renowned "Baltic Bees Jet Team", flying former military jet L-39C Albatros. During his career, he has covered a CFI position, leading a team of instructors, in one of the most successful flight academies in southern Europe. In 2021, Alessandro has become a first and only A-UPRT rated pilot instructor in Latvia. He developed the "Baltic UPRT" project and daily provide valuable training with no cutting corners. His passion for flying has always been Aerobatics and although the day job is very much about the world staying the right way up, he enjoys nothing more than being upside down! |
